Who can turn the world on with her smile?

I can. And do.

Along with Dr. O, of course. As you can clearly see in this picture, taken when we were students of the most serious and upstanding caliber, before, after, and during cocktails. Which is how I used to measure my time.
(I'll bet you can't guess at what point the cocktails were involved in this photo...)

We were the Patsy and Edina of the philosophy department, minus the glamour and cocaine, plus an advisor and more functioning brain cells.
More or less. The resemblance is striking:

Dr. O lives in Minneapolis, and I will be there for the weekend. And we may just have a cocktail or two. Although I'm not positive, as we haven't yet discussed the matter.

I'll say hi to Mary and Rhoda for you.

Funny perspective shifts are at work in that photo. For instance, your friend looks like a Farrah Fawcett poster.

Mind you, I've had nights like that too.

Patsy and Edina were sort philosophers in their own right, weren't they? Have fun. Sorry, but Rhoda moved to Manhattan years ago, but Sue Ann Nivens is always a gal that enjoys a cocktail and knows where to find a man.
